Accompagn\u00e9s de guides, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont arpent\u00e9 les rues pour comprendre comment vivaient autrefois les habitants.\nLes guides ont expliqu\u00e9 que chaque ouvrier avait un r\u00f4le pr\u00e9cis : modeler, \u00e9mailler, d\u00e9corer ou cuire les pi\u00e8ces dans les grands fours. Ces fours, dont certains subsistent encore, t\u00e9moignent du savoir-faire exceptionnel des artisans d\u2019autrefois.\nLes enfants ont observ\u00e9 les habitations en se rendant compte que la terre, mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re, \u00e9tait partout : chemin\u00e9e, tuiles\u2026\nIls ont \u00e9galement observ\u00e9 le vieux moulin, situ\u00e9 au bord de la Sarthe.\nPuis en se promenant dans la rue du Four, les enfants ont d\u00e9couvert un lieu embl\u00e9matique de cette histoire. Les maisons anciennes, aux fa\u00e7ades de pierre et aux toits d\u2019ardoise, rappellent le temps o\u00f9 Malicorne vivait au rythme des ateliers.\n\nIls ont termin\u00e9 ce temps par une d\u00e9couverte de l\u2019ancienne gare et de l\u2019ancien chemin de fer. Les guides ont expliqu\u00e9 que le d\u00e9veloppement du chemin de fer avait beaucoup aid\u00e9 la ville.
